Friends Of The Festival Presents The 10th Annual Riverfront Nights: Muddy Magnolias On Saturday

  • Friday, July 22, 2016

Friends of the Festival brings the public one of the most awaited outdoor musical series for the 10th consecutive year. "Riverfront Nights" is free for all to enjoy on the city's 21st Century Waterfront. Muddy Magnolias will be playing the EPB Fiber Optics stage on Saturday. This is the second concert in the 6 concert series to be played on the riverfront this year. Local opener Black Cat Moon kicks off the music at 7 p.m. followed by Muddy Magnolias at 8 p.m.

Kallie North and Jessy Wilson make up the soulful duo of Muddy Magnolias. After meeting in Nashville three years ago, they immediately began working on their debut album. The combination of their voices is described as rootsy, bluesy, soulful and sexy. Their different backgrounds help inspire the other which helps them create their unique sound and style.

Friends of the Festival is a nonprofit organization that manages and produces premier events which unite and enrich the region with emphasis on the vitality of the community.
