Dania I. Parker, 87, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2016 at her home. She attended Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Parker; parents, Andrew and Maggie Gibson Gee; sisters, Dorothy Hackney, Inez Gee and Wilma Gordon; and brothers, Wallace Gee, Rudolph Gee and Roy Gee.
Survivors include her daughter, Janni Samples and husband, Mike of Cleveland; granddaughter, Michaiah Samples; sister, Betty Young of Cleveland; special nieces, Regina Blackwell and Kathy Young; and several other nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 25, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Huff officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
Her family will receive friends on Monday from 12-2 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
The family requests that memorials be made to Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 7619 Blue Springs Road SW, Cleveland TN 37311.
