Fay Sims
Fay L. Sims, 85, of Chattanooga died on Saturday, July 23, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Tressie Sims, brothers, Fred Sims, Kelly Sims, and T. L. “Jabo” Sims. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Mr. Sims sang for many years with the Scenic Land Quartet. He was the owner of Best Motors.
Survivors include his wife of 42, years, Agnes Sims; children Mike Sims, Myrna Sims, and Tammy (Kenny) Lewis; sister, Viva (Ralph) Davis; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 25, at 3:30 p.m. at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverend Dwight Martin officiating. Entombment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30-3:30 p.m.
