Durell Traylor
Durell D. Traylor, 83, of Rossville, died on Saturday, July 23, 2016 in a local hospital.
Mr. Traylor was a native of Rainsville, Alabama, retired from D.M. Steward Manufacturing Company, was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed gardening, working in his yard, woodworking, helping others in time of need, and spending time with his family.
Mr. Traylor was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Betty Jean (Wilkins) Traylor, parents, Lowell & Lucille (Large) Traylor, granddaughter, Tiffany Traylor, and sister, Gwen Cushen.
He is survived by his sons, William A. “Tony” and Darrell D. (Cheryl) Traylor; brothers, Jimmy (Renee’) Traylor and Terry (Deborah) Traylor; special daughter, Paula Stinnett; sister, Wynell Heaton; grandchildren, Eden Traylor, English (Rachel) Storer and Blake Traylor; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 27, at 1 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Pastor John Headrick officiating. Burial will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 26, from 4–8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
