In Support Of Marty Haynes - And Response

  • Sunday, July 24, 2016

Early voting is now in progress and continues through July 30, with election day being Aug. 4.  I am asking the voters of Hamilton County to join me in casting their vote for Marty Haynes, who is on the ballot for assessor of property.

I know this office needs the continued leadership it has with the past assessors. My late husband, Roy Rumfelt, served under the last three assessors and was the chief deputy in that office at the time of his passing. We can continue that leadership by electing Marty Haynes to this position.

I have known Marty for several years. He has served as my County Commissioner since 2012 and has represented District 3 well.  I know Marty is a man of integrity, loves his family and is a man of God. Marty will be fair and equitable when it comes to assessing the value of  your property.

I ask for your vote for Marty Haynes.

Marty Haynes is the best choice to be assessor of property.  Our property tax revenues are based on the property values determined by the county assessor. To make these valuations the assessor must have a good business sense, a clear and compassionate understanding of the direction of the county and the cities, and be fair when making value decisions.

Marty is an outstanding businessman.  As county commissioner, he has a clear understanding of the direction of the county and the importance of our cities. Above all else, Marty is trustworthy.

The assessor’s office can be streamlined, the personnel can be given more efficient tools and the website can be jazzed up, but the important criteria is who will be fair when placing a value on your property.

Marty is a proven leader.  He has a passion for serving the people of Hamilton County and can be trusted in doing the right job for all property owners.  Vote for Marty Haynes for assessor of property.
