Morning Pointe of Chattanooga at Shallowford residents created dozens of beautiful floral arrangements on the Chattanooga Salvation Army's "Flowers of Hope Day."

As part of the Life Enrichment Program, the assisted living community embraces acts of kindness through its partnerships with local nonprofit organizations, spreading goodwill to everyone they meet.

Once a month, the assisted living residents visit the Salvation Army on Moore Road in Chattanooga to fill vases with a variety of flowers.

As a final touch, heartfelt notes of encouragement are added to the bouquets before the residents made their special deliveries to area hospitals, nursing homes and other places serving people in need.
