The Erlanger Health System Foundations welcomes a new chair and four new members to the board of directors of the Erlanger and Children’s Hospital (EACH) Council for Fiscal Year 2017. The EACH Council serves as the sole development council to build community awareness and raise funds for all Erlanger and Children’s Hospital Foundations’ fundraising initiatives, including the “Believe” campaign to build a new Children’s Hospital.

Christie Kizer Burbank, who has served on the council for three years, will serve as the new council chair. She is a healthcare regulatory and transactional attorney with Miller & Martin and the mother of two small children.

New Council members are Lynn Mosier Bryant, Matt Hullander, Jeff Jackson, and Lisa Norris.

John W. Sorrow, outgoing board chair, stated, “As my time as chair is winding down and I move into the background, I would like to congratulate an excellent slate of additions. Like anything associated with Erlanger, it all just keeps getting better... better foundation team, better board members, better board chair, better health system, and soon a better Children’s Hospital.  Thanks for all each of you have done to get us where we are right now.”

“We are so thankful to have such talent and wisdom joining our team,” said Ms. Burbank. “I would also like to thank outgoing chair John Sorrow and outgoing council members Ann Currey, Carrie Kennedy, Liz Norris, and Josh Powers for their dedication to the council and for helping to raise money for various causes. As incoming chair, I look forward as we continue to bring awareness to the community and to build our new Children’s Hospital for the children of this region.”
