Clayton Deon Smith, 54, of LaFayette, Georgia, originally of Huntsville, Alabama, died on Monday, July 25, 2016.
He was a resident of the North Georgia area for more than 15 years and was of the Christian faith. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
Clayton was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Carrie (Doughty) Smith and brother, Clifton T. Smith.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Smith, of LaFayette; step-son, J.R. Fales, of Alamo, Ga.; siblings, Javan Smith, of Baton Rouge, Steven Minor, of San Diego, Latita Smith, of Riverdale, Ga., Jerrold Smith, of Ellenwood, Ga.; grandchildren, Alexis, Jason, Addy; nephews, Antoine, Jordan, Craig; and nieces, Brianna Tracee, Erin, Crystal, Faith, and Tonya.
Memorial services for Mr. Smith will be announced at a later date.
