Alene Johnson Gray, 88, of Dunlap, Tennessee, passed away at her home Wednesday, July 27, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gaither and Ester Lewis Johnson; brothers, Bobby, Radis, Willis, Buford and Ernest Johnson; and sister, Doris Clements.
Survivors include her husband of 71 years, Max "Corky" Gray; son, Roger (Rhonda) Gray; brothers, Clyde (Ann) Johnson, Dr. Carrol (Brownie) Johnson, Roy (Dean) Johnson and Ray Johnson; sisters, Helen (Henry) Broom, Lois (Roy) Webb and Alice (Lee) Greer; grandchildren, Gary Prater and Dr. Michelle Gray; great-grandchildren, Jake, Dalton and Alex; and special great-granddaughter and caregiver, Allie Prater.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. CDT Friday. July 29, in Ewton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Terry Barker officiating. Burial will take place in Hixson Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. CDT on Friday at the Ewton Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
