Cleveland State Offers Upcoming Information Sessions

  • Friday, July 29, 2016

Cleveland State Community College has scheduled upcoming information sessions for various academic areas at both the Athens and Monroe County Centers. The purpose of these events is to educate prospective students about the offerings throughout both McMinn and Monroe counties and answer any questions they may have about these programs.

The Monroe County Center Information Session is taking place on Tuesday, August 2 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Participants can learn more about Electrical Maintenance and Welding programs at this time.

The Athens Center Information Session is taking place on Thursday, August 4 from 5:30-6:30 p.m.  Participants can learn more about Business, Administrative Professional Technology, Agribusiness and Medical Informatics (online).

“Cleveland State is committed to serving all communities throughout our service area, and we are excited to offer several high-demand programs at our Athens and Monroe County Centers,” stated Susan Webb-Curtis, Dean of Business and Technology. “We are offering courses in a variety of formats including accelerated, hybrid, online and block courses. If you are interested in attending college close to home, we hope you will stop by to find out more and ask your questions during an information session.”

All of these academic programs will start in August, so there is still time to register. For more information on the Monroe County Information Session, contact (423) 884-2338. For more information on the Athens Information Session, contact (423) 745-8486.
