Wingate Is Nooga Strong - And Response

  • Sunday, July 31, 2016

On Aug. 4 we will go to the polls to cast our votes in many races and all are important. However, at the local level there is not one greater than the school board. Why you may ask? Our system is failing our county, employers, parents and most of all the children and future.

We see now the direction of the past gives us a present-day disaster through no fault of students and no fault of teachers.

We know low standards have created low scores, which has created a work force unable to compete in today's market place.

The standards need to be raised - not taxes. Our children need to be ready to move into a global market that has brought itself to us by the way of many international companies.

It is time to be "NOOGA strong."

It is time for "real leadership."

It is time for commitment, dedication,and passion with a new vision and new direction.

It is time for a change in District 7

It is time to vote Joe Wingate school board member District 7

Vote on Aug. 4th to be "Nooga strong."

Sterling Jetton

* * *

I agree with Mr. Jetton in my support of Joe Wingate. Joe and his fine family represents the future of Hamilton County.

If voters are pleased with the past leadership on the Hamilton County School Board and their performance over the last year then do nothing and get more of the same.

But if you, like myself and many others believe we can have much better representation, then vote for Joe Wingate in District 7 for school board.
