Bob, Don't Do It - And Response

  • Wednesday, July 6, 2016
I know that he has met with the Donald before and I have read where he is now being vetted as a possible VP pick. I would just like to ask that Mr. Corker not lower himself to that level and associate with someone like Donald Trump. He is better than that.

I don't often vote for Republicans because they so often have such a poor selection of candidates, but I have voted for Bob Corker. He is a smart, intelligent, honorable man and I have a great deal of respect for him and I think he has served our state and community well.

I will not, however, vote for Donald Trump, under no circumstances. If he is the only person on the ballot, I will write in my own name.

Again, Mr. Corker, don't tarnish your stellar image, you are better than that.

Mr Fricke,

So I’m guessing you will be writing in your own name or voting Independent this year. If Trump is out of the question due to his political stances, Hillary must be out of the equation for you as well as she can’t tell truth from fiction anymore and is an ethical and moral time bomb. We are all better than that.  God help us all over the next four years either way.  I might write you in as well at this point.
