Kathy Lennon Receives Recommendation From HCEA In District 2

  • Wednesday, July 6, 2016

The Hamilton County Education Association has endorsed Kathy Lennon for the School Board, District 2.

“It is a great honor to receive the recommendation of the Hamilton County Education Association,” Said Kathy Lennon. “HCEA represents our educators; the organization advocates on behalf of teachers and students.

"Advocating for students and teachers is my top priority. If elected, I will work with the members of the school board to fight for a Memorandum of Agreement for our teachers. The MOA provides the needed stability necessary to ensure that the teacher, student and school system are secure in their pursuit of the highest student outcomes.

"Imagine if all of the opportunities, resources and facilities were equitable for schools, students and teachers in all districts. Imagine all the possibilities if we work together to make change happen."
