2 Teens Suffer Serious Wounds; Man Shot In The Leg In 2 Chattanooga Overnight Shootings

Two teens suffered serious wounds and a 25-year-old man was shot in the leg in a separate incident during overnight shootings in Chattanooga.

At 1:50 a.m., officers with the Chattanooga Police Department responded to the 2400 block of Windsor Street concerning an individual suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim reported that he was standing street side on Windsor Street, just after 1:30 a.m., when someone in a vehicle shot at him. 

Jamario Gibson sustained a single gunshot wound to the leg.

He was transported by Hamilton County EMS to a local hospital for treatment.

The injury is reported to be non-life threatening. 

Then at 2:46 a.m., the Chattanooga Police Department responded to 2003 Sharp St. concerning reports of a person suffering from a gunshot wound.

Two juveniles in their late teens were located suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were transported by Hamilton County EMS to a local hospital for treatment.

Police said, "At this time, their injuries are reported to be serious, but non-life threatening."

Police are still working to determine where the incident originally occurred. At this time a crime scene has not been located.  

In both cases, police said, "No credible suspect information has been provided to police at this time."
