Cortney High Arrested For June Murder Of Jerrica Jackson

Cortney High, 25, has been arrested by Chattanooga Police for the murder of 22-year-old Jerrica Jackson in June.

He was arrested for first-degree murder, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, possession of a firearm during dangerous felony, and possession of a firearm (convicted felon).

The victim was found shot and killed in a vehicle off Highway 58 early Sunday morning, June 12.

At 3:32 a.m., the Chattanooga Police Department had responded to the 4600 block of Trailwood Drive on a report of a person shot.

 

Police found the victim sitting in a white SUV deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.
