Meagan Elise Morris
Meagan Elise Morris, 27, of Ringgold, Georgia, died on Monday, August 8, 2016, unexpectedly at her residence.
A lifelong resident of the Ringgold and Jasper areas, she was a 2008 graduate of Lookout Valley High school and was of the Baptist faith. Meagan enjoyed traveling and country music, especially Brad Paisley.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Sandra Maynor; and great grandparents, Joe and Betty Newberry. She is survived by her loving companion, Richard Keith Smith of Ringgold; father and step-mother, Randall “Randy” and Stephanie Morris of Ringgold; mother and step-father, April and Joe Shell of Jasper; step-father, Austin Lebron Garrett of Chattanooga; four sisters, Haley Garrett of Jasper, Madison Morris of Ringgold, Mallory Morris of Ringgold, and Maddie Garrett of Jasper; step-brother, Peyton Shell of Jasper; grandparents, Emory and Barbara Morris of Ringgold, William “Bill” and Joyce Maynor of Ringgold, and Ila Garrett of Bryant, Al.; aunts and uncle, Debbie Morris of Alpharetta, Ga.; Tyler and Amy Maynor of Ringgold; great aunt and uncle, Karen and Jeff Hoffinger of Ringgold; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13, in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Keith McLeod officiating. Interment will follow at Anderson Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday, Aug. 12, from 3-9 p.m., and Saturday, from 9 a.m. until funeral time at the funeral home.
