Man Who Escaped From Moccasin Bend Captured Near Baylor School

A K-9 unit helped Chattanooga Police track down an inmate who escaped from Moccasin Bend Mental Health Institute.

Robert Harris left the facility on Sunday and was located in woods near Baylor School late Monday morning.

Harris is facing charges of child rape in Hamblen County.

Neighbors had reported seeing a man walk down railroad tracks, then go into the woods.

A police dog was able to sniff out Harris as he hid on some rocks above the search party.
