John Sanford, 54, of Cohutta, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at St. Thomas West Medical Center in Nashville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Sanford and Bertie Ann Dunn; and brother, Jimmy Sanford.
He was a member of Little Prospect Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Sanford of the residence; son, Brandon Sanford of Cohutta; daughters, Ashley Sanford of Cohutta and Amanda Green of Chatsworth; grandchild, Henley Voiles of Cohutta; sisters, Margaret Sanford and Shelia Arnold, both of Ellijay, Liz Wilson of Alabama and Loretta Rhodes of Dalton; brother, Bennie Sanford and Gary Sutton, both of Ellijay and Phillip Sutton of Dalton; mom, Mary Sanford of Dalton; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
