Chattanooga DAR Members Attend Workshops Throughout The State

Members of the Tennessee Daughters of the American Revolution from throughout the state attended the annual August workshops held in Maryville, Jackson and Lebanon.

Many topics were offered, including leadership training sessions for officers and committee chairmen, a new member workshop, an update on genealogical searches, an interactive tour of the Revolutionary War and a session on how to help the DAR Schools.

Members also brought items to create “goody bags” of school supplies to give to the teachers at the DAR Schools. 

The local Chattanooga area chapters include Chickamauga, Regent Joye Duke; Nancy Ward, Regent Natalie Blackwell; Judge David Campbell, Regent Susan Lindsey; Chief John Ross, Regent Raz Dumitru; and Moccasin Bend, Regent Barbara Fickley.
