Duncan Porter Rawlings, 72, formerly of Chattanooga, died on Saturday, July 30, 2016 in Los Angeles, California following a brief illness.
He was a 1962 graduate of Howard High School. After graduation, he joined the Air Force and served for four years. Duncan worked in Alaska as a computer specialist, detecting Russian missiles for almost 50 years.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Josephine Rawlings.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Monica Rawlings; sons, Yonatan (Liora) Tzion and Christopher Rawlings, both of Los Angeles; three sisters, Addie Rawlings, Patti Lacey, and Martha Rawlings, all of Chattanooga; five nephews; two nieces; several cousins; other relatives and friends.
He will be interred in the family crypt in Mexico City.
