Police said a man who was arrested after several reports of him trying to break into homes on Bass Road made racial threats afterward.
Dustin Ray Sexton, 22, of 7647 Creek Road, Wildwood, Ga., was charged with aggravated burglary, resisting stop and frisk, aggravated assault and retaliation.
In the incident on Sunday, police responded to the area of Bass Road and Guild Drive on the report of a suspicious white male wearing a black shirt and plaid shorts trying to break into homes.
A woman on Bass Road said the man entered her house through the back door.
When officers found the man, he had shed the black shirt. When police told him to halt, he jumped a fence and tried to get away.
A K-9 was brought to the scene and tracked the man to an attic of a house on Bass Road.
Police said Sexton told them, "I'm going to kill your babies" and used racial slurs toward a black officer.
Saying he was on meth, he said he was going to retaliate against police and their families.
He said, "Aryan Nation is gonna kill us."
The woman whose home was broken into made a positive ID of Sexton.
One resident said he was in the area for hours as several Brainerd Hills residents were chasing him. She said he tried to attack her son, who got his shirt off of him.
The Brainerd Hills email list let all residents know where he was and where he was headed and was used to keep police which way to head next, she stated.
The woman was able to snap a picture of Sexton in front of her house.
