Martin, Tiny Trammell (LaFayette)

Tiny Trammell Martin, 96, of LaFayette, Georgia, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016.
 
She was born Dec. 10, 1919 in Walker County to Capers B. Trammell and Sudie Hollis Trammell. Tiny was employed for 40 years with the Walker County Health Department and Walker County Agent Office. After retirement, Mrs. Martin was involved with the Chattanooga Valley Homemakers Club and Senior Neighbors and she attended Gordon Lake Wesleyan Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Martin.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, James Ray (Sharon) Martin; two grandsons, James Raymond (Ginger) Martin of LaFayette and Aaron D.  (Christi) Martin of Dalton; five great-granddaughters, McKennah, Macy, Aubrey and Natalie Martin and Kayleigh Jones; a special foster grandson, Bernie Reece and his daughter Ashton; and one brother, James Edward Trammell of LaFayette.

Services will be held in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel Sunday, Aug. 28 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Bob Lower officiating. Interment will follow in the LaFayette Memory Gardens. Pallbearers are Paul Martin, John, Philip and Howard Bartlett, James Burton and James Ulrich.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Gordon Lake Wesleyan Church, 29 Gordon Lake Rd. LaFayette, Ga. 30728.

Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday, Aug. 27 from 5-8 p.m.

Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
