Lloyd Wayne Ramsey, 75, of Whitwell, Tennessee, passed away Friday, August 26, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter J.C. & Genevieve Ramsey; son, Michael Ramsey; and brother, Paul Ramsey.
Mr. Ramsey was a member of Mineral Springs Church of God. He was retired from Berkline Assembly.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Betty Jean Slatton Ramsey; four children, Windell (Teresa) Ramsey, Anthony “Tony” Ray Ramsey, Darrell (Kim) Ramsey and Tim Ramsey; brothers, Rev. James “Rab” (Louise) Ramsey, Jack (Nancy) Ramsey and Dave Ramsey all of Whitwell; 17 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 28 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jerry Basham officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 3-8 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 27 at the Whitwell Memorial Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
