GPS Falls To Briarcrest, Baylor To Collierville

The GPS soccer team suffered the first loss of their season on Saturday, losing to defending state champions Briarcrest 2-0.  Briarcrest's Kaley Smithmier scored both goals in the first half.  

Avery Campbell had five saves for GPS.  GPS is now 5-1 on the season.  

At Baylor, the Red Raiders lost 2-1 to Collierville.  

Cambell Kivisto and Kate Johnson scored first half goals for Collierville.  Baylor's Lainee Bohannon scored their lone goal in the 75th minute.  

Baylor's Shannon Urey and Peyton Randolph combined for four saves.  

Baylor is now 2-2 on the season.  Collierville is 3-0-1
