The Baylor Lady Red Raider volleyball team made a successful trip to Nashville this weekend where they remained unbeaten after 14 matches with wins over three region foes.
Friday's match had Baylor sweeping Pope John Paul II by scores of 25-5, 25-10 and 25-11 before sweeping Ensworth and Father Ryan on Saturday. Scores in the first match were 25-15, 25-12 and 25-5 while winning by scores of 25-13, 25-18 and 25-20 over the Purple Irish.
Senior Gabby Gray played her usual outstanding performance as she finished the weekend with a combined 36 kills and 20 digs.
Sarah Sumida had 111 assists and 21 digs while Ally Craig was credited with 23 kills and 14 digs. Jane Wilson played inspired volleyball and finished the three matches with 18 kills while Lilly Turner had 32 digs and seven aces.
Baylor returns to action at home on Monday as they face East Hamilton.
