Herbert Walker
Herbert Hall Walker, Jr. (Hubbert Jr.), 71, of Chattanooga (Maury Field), died on Saturday, August 27, 2016 in a local health care facility.
He was an Army veteran, having served in the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Lucy Walker; brothers, James Vaughn and William Cunningham.
Survivors include his brother, John (Caroline) Walker; nieces, Beverly (Derris) Ware, Sharon Walker, Lurlisa Williams, and Romonda (Lacy) Word; a host of great-nieces; great-nephews; cousins; and friends.
He will lie in state on Friday, Sept. 2, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel with Minister Ida Elaine Johnson as the eulogist. Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
