Ozell Whited Scroggins, 86, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, died on Sunday, August 28, 2016 in a local health care facility.
She had spent most of her adult life in Spring City, Tn. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sue Genevieve Ellis, son, Ronald Levon Ellis, siblings, Clinton Whited, Arthur Whited, Raymon Loyd Whited, Evelyn Hall and Pauline Ray.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Harold James Skinner III, Thom Thornbrough, Christopher Ellis and Timothy Ellis, sister, Ruby Davidson, brother, Glen Whited and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 3, at noon in the Chapel of Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace. Burial will be private.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour in the funeral home.
