The coach of the Ooltewah High School boys basketball team at the time three of his players were charged in attacks on freshmen players made his first court appearanceon Wednesday.
Andre "Tank" Montgomery appeared in the courtroom of Criminal Court Judge Don Poole.
Attorney Curtis Bowe argued that the charge of failing to report the incident should be dismissed.
Judge Poole set another hearing in the case for Oct. 18.
