Hiroya Tsukamoto Plays At Charles And Myrtle's Sept. 10

  • Wednesday, August 31, 2016

Hiroya Tsukamoto, a guitarist and singer from Japan who now lives in New York, will be in concert at Charles and Myrtle's Coffeehouse on Saturday, Sept. 10, at 8 p.m.  The coffeehouse is inside Christ Unity Church at 105 McBrien Road.  There is a $10 suggested donation at the door.

Review for Hiroya Tsukamoto:

Hiroya Tsukamoto plays eclectic acoustic music described as Cinematic Guitar Poetry, but he is not a typical solo guitarist as he also does story-telling, poetry and incorporating some Japanese folk music.  He uses a tool that can record his voice and guitar in real time creating layers.
