Engineering And Information Technologies Fall Open House Is Sept. 22 At Chattanooga State

The Engineering and Information Technologies Division of Chattanooga State Community College will hold an open house on Thursday, Sept. 22 from 4-7 p.m. in the Center for Engineering, Technology, Arts & Sciences (CETAS) building starting at the WACKER Institute on the main campus located at 4501 Amnicola Hwy.  Additionally, representatives from area industries will meet with students at their outdoor booths and participate in panel discussions.

There will be light refreshments and snacks at the event.

The Engineering and Information Technologies Division offers five associate of applied science degrees with twenty concentrations in the fields of information technology/computer science and engineering, a computer science transfer path, an engineering transfer program, and one technical certificate in computer aided drafting. 

"Participants will discover pathways to high demand, high wage STEM careers through engineering, computer programming, cyber security, and computer network administration programs of study. Come see our state-of-the-art labs, equipment, facilities, and meet some of the very best engineering and computer science technology educators in this part of the country," officials said.
