The passing of Alexis Arquette is very sad. She was an activist and role model for the Transgender Community. Thanks to her, Laverne Cox, Sarah McBride and many other activists in the Transgender Community are making huge strides forward. We are here to stay and will not be bullied by people's religious beliefs, personal opinions, hateful comments and actions.
There is strength in numbers, as we join with family, friends and allies to celebrate our diversity.
The passing of hateful laws, disguised as religious freedom, is about as low as a person can stoop.
Many of us are veterans. Before coming to realize our true selves, we were held in high regard and now we are being bullied and discriminated against. More and more scientific proof shows that we are born this way - it is not a choice. The only choice is living as our true selves.
