Rebecca Louise Lewis Payne Twyman, 97, of Lake Wales, Florida, died on Saturday, September 17, 2016.
She was a graduate of City High School and was retired from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s office after 25 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her children, Penelope Payne Butler, Damaris Payne Pack, Dennis Payne, and David Payne; step-daughter and step-son-in-law, Martha (Sam) Askew.
Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Payne Smith of Lake Wales, FL; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She will be buried at Greenwood Cemetery on Wednesday, Sept. 21, with a private family service.
There will be no visitation.
Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road, East Ridge, Tn.
