James Douglas

James Scott Douglas, 52, of Signal Mountain, Tennessee, died on Monday, September 19, 2016, in a local hospital. 

He was born July 31, 1964 in Louisville, Ky.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Scott was a drummer for the Bounty Hunter Band in Lakeland, Fl., for more than 20 years. 

Survivors include his wife of eight years, Mary Elizabeth Douglas; step-daughter, Jayme Alexander of South Dakota; step-son, Jeremy Hart of Colorado; parents, Jim Douglas of Brazil, In., and Carol DeFriese of Terra Haut, In.; two sisters, Susan Adams of Panama City, Fl., and Amy Sizemore of Terra Haut, In.; and several nieces and nephews.  

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are by the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 8214 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37421.
