Mary Reeves
Mary Imogene Reeves, 82, of Lookout Valley, Tennessee, died on Friday, September 23, 2016 at a local hospital.
Mrs. Reeves, a native of Bryant, Al., was born on Oct. 26, 1933, to the late James H. and Rosa Countiss. She later moved to the Chattanooga in the late 1960s. She was previously employed with Alexian Village of Signal Mountain, where she served as a home health assistant. Her passions in life were her family, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and enjoying her word puzzles. She also attended the Tiftonia Baptist Church in Lookout Valley.
Mrs. Reeves was preceded in death by her husband; Gordon H. Reeves; parents, James H and Rosa Countiss, two daughters; Debbie D. Reeves and Linda Reeves, son; Lamar Hill and one granddaughter, Tammy E. Racheal.
Survivors include her sons, James H. Reeves, Gordon L. Reeves, Billy G. Reeves and Richard L. Reeves, nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 26, at Lane Funeral South Crest Chapel with Reverend Craig Westbrook officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood West Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, Sept. 25, from 4-8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
