Baylor To Honor 7 During Headmaster's Award Service

Baylor will honor seven members of the school community during the Headmaster's Awards and Memorial Chapel Service on Sunday, Oct. 2, as part of the school’s Alumni Weekend festivities. 

The Honorable W. Neil Thomas III (class of 1962) is this year's recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award; Kelly Nation and Leyden Pugh (class of 1985) will receive the John T. ‘Buddy’ Fisher ’46 Distinguished Service Award; the late Charlie Baker (class of 1957), Scott Smith (class of 1989), and the late Coach Jack Stanford are this year’s Sports Hall of Fame inductees; and Pete Robinson will receive the Dedicated Faculty Award.

Alumni who passed away this year, as well as members of the Class of 1966 who have died, will also be memorialized during the service.
