Fire Breaks Out In Master Bedroom Of Ooltewah Residence

Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Department responded to a house fire in Ooltewah on Friday.

At 11:30 a.m., the homeowner at 5509 Nations Road called 911 reporting smoke coming from the eaves of her house. Tri-Community responded and arrived on the scene confirming smoke coming from the house.

Firefighters conducted an interior attack, found a fire in the master bedroom and extinguished the fire within minutes.

No injuries were reported but Hamilton County EMS was on the scene for any potential injuries to the firefighters.

Fire officials have reported damages are undetermined at this time and the cause of the fire will be under investigation by the Tri-Community fire marshal's office. The family was insured and will be staying with family and friends.

Nations Road is near Old Lee Highway.
