Ruby Evelyn Winters Moats, 73, of Jasper, Tennessee, passed away Friday, September 23, 2016 after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
Born on July 10, 1943 to the late Andrew Jackson and Iantha Belle Price Winters, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Moats, Jr.; and siblings, Betty Sue Winters Jones, Andrew J. Winters, Jr. and Mildred V. Winters.
She is survived by her children, Patrick (Della) Moats of South Pittsburg, TN, Karen (Gerald) Case and Christy (Doug) Womack both of Jasper, TN; grandchildren, Cameron Moats, Stephanie Moats Mount, Blaze Moats, Chazz Moats, Tiffany Case Allen, Jade Case, Hayden, Hunter, Heath & Hannah Womack; great-grandchildren, Blaine Pittman, Jayden Mount, Khloe Mount and Brantley Allen; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Central time on Tuesday, Sept. 27 with Rev. Cecil Baxter officiating. Interment will follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home on Sunday, Sept. 25 from 5-8 p.m. central and on Monday, Sept. 26 from 5-8 p.m. central.
