Franklin D. Ellis, 80, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016 at his home.
He was member of Goblers Knob Church of God in Whitfield County, GA, where he also served as the pastor. He was retired from Brown Stove Works with over 25 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Jean Shaw Ellis; parents, Asberry and Emmiline Hicks Ellis; two brothers, Tom Ellis and Gary Ellis; and two sisters, Rene Carden and Edith Bullard.
He is survived by two brothers, Alvin Ellis and wife, Hazel of Tellico and Albert Ellis and wife, Barbara of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted Monday, Sept. 26 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Ed Henderson, Ben Clayton and Eddie Scott officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
His family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25 at the Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
