Rita Sue Morgan Higdon, 69, of Copperhill, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2016.
She was born on Nov. 19,1946 to the late Bill and Doris Bell Morgan. She was of the Baptist faith and retired from the Walmart in Murphy, N.C., after 10 years of service.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Andrew Higdon “Andy”; grandson, Kyle Connor; grandparents, Robert and Nora Mae Bell and Judd and Mammie Morgan.
She is survived by her sister, Regina Morgan Garrett; niece, Karen (Randy) Epperson; great-niece, Layne Epperson; great-nephew, Slade Epperson; grandson, Justin Connor; and granddaughter, Katie Connor.
Per Ms. Higdon’s request, there will be no public service at this time.
