Francis Ray Bullard, 80, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016 in a local hospital.
He was a member of Westwood Baptist Church. He was a devoted caretaker for his wife of 56 years before she passed last year. He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution. He loved being a truck driver and enjoyed the company of his trucker friends. He amassed over 3 million miles of safe driving during his career.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Abraham Bullard and Ethel Odell Carson Bullard; his wife, Wanda Bernice Bullard; and his brother, Jesse Hoyle Bullard.
He is survived by three grandchildren, Ashley Elliott (Rhonda), Dusty Elliott (Lori) and Eric Elliott (Megan); siblings, Earnest Jerry Bullard (Patsy), Ronald Julian Bullard (Barbara), Alice Schnebel (Bob), Robert Dewayne Bullard and Susan Brackin (Raymond); and his close friend and neighbor, Jim Robinson.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory. Interment will follow at Hilcrest Cemetery with a white dove release.
The family will receive friends and family on Tuesday, Sept. 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory, who has charge of the arrangements.
