Cecil Davis, 87, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016 in a Chattanooga Hospice Facility.
He was a member of Union Grove Church of Christ. He loved the Lord, family and friends, pets, beekeeping and gardening. He retired from the stove manufacturing business, working at Dixie Foundry, Magic Chef, and Maytag with over 40 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his wife, V. Burdetta Davis; daughter, Wanda Sue Davis; parents, Sylvester and Elsie Davis; three brothers; and one sister.
He is survived by two daughters, Patricia Ann Davis of Hollywood, FL and Amy Michelle Davis of Cleveland; sister, Martha Davis Ross and husband, Robert of Stockbridge, GA; special niece, Shelia and special nephew, Ricky Ross; and other nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 27 at Union Grove Church of Christ Cemetery with Minister Steve Hall officiating.
His family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. on Tuesday at Fike-Randolph and Son Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
