Brigette Shankles
Brigette H. Shankles, 71, of Hixson, died on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at her home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ruby Hensley. She was employed for many years by Buster Brown Apparel and other sewing and textile industries. Mrs. Shankles loved her plants and flowers. She enjoyed sewing and cooking. Mrs. Shankles took great pleasure in entertaining and socializing with friends.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Wesley Lamar Shankles; sister, Ginny (Gene) Schuler; nephews, Brian Schuler and Danny (Melinda) Schuler.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 2, in the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3-8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1.
