St. Francis Of Assisi Episcopal Church Announces "Blessing Of Animals" This Sunday

St. Francis Day and the Blessing of Animals will be celebrated this Sunday from 1:30-4 p.m. at St. Francis Of Assisi Episcopal Church Campus, 7555 Ooltewah-Georgetown Road in Ooltewah.  Admission is f and all faiths are welcome.

"Bring your pet and enjoy an afternoon at St. Francis.  Participate in the parade of animals, followed by a short liturgy in the Episcopal tradition and then on to an abundance of fun activities to enjoy," organizers said.

All events are free and include:

Petting Zoo and Pony Ride
Release of Doves
Have your photo taken with your pet
St. Francis Day medal and goodie bag for each visiting animal
Children’s Craft Activities
Adoptable Pets needing a new home
Vendor booths related to animals 
Free Hot Dogs and Popcorn
