Cecil Knight, 81, of Villanow, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Parkridge Medical Center.
He was a 1953 graduate of Dalton High School.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren & Viola Bennett Knight; and a niece, Gail Bonifacious.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Patrick & Suzanne Harris of Ringgold; sister and brother-in-law, Eloise & Sidney Baxter of Rocky Face; nephew and niece, Gary Baxter & his wife Angie, and Gloria Kirkland and her husband Larry; and many cousins and friends.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, Oct. 1 at 3 p.m. at the Rocky Face Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Hannah Michelle Isenhower officiating. Burial will be at Macedonia Cemetery in Villanow.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2-3 p.m.
