  • Thursday, September 8, 2016

Dr. Paul Conn, president of Lee University for 30 years, will talk about how the University's growth and other changes have affected the local community at the third-quarter “Food for Thought” luncheon at the Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce.

The membership luncheon will take place Thursday, Sept. 15, at noon in the Chamber’s conference center.

Dr.  Conn joined the Lee College faculty as an instructor in 1972 and reached the rank of professor of Psychology 12 years later. He has served continuously at Lee, except when engaging in postdoctoral study and a summer appointment as visiting professor of Psychology at Appalachian State University.

“Join us for this special Food for Thought program as we talk about the impact Lee University has had on our community and learn about their plans for the future,” Bernadette Douglas, Chamber executive vice president, said.

The “Food for Thought” Dutch-treat luncheon will take place at the Chamber of Commerce, with reservations required to facilitate room setup and food.  Call the Chamber at 423-472-6587 to make your reservation or visit the events calendar on the Chamber’s website, www.clevelandchamber.com, by Tuesday, Sept. 13.
