George Bons Peck, 87, of Summerville, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at his residence.
A native of Forney, AL, he was born to the late Delone Stuart and Katie Mae Smith Peck on Aug. 30, 1929. He was a retired truck driver and Veteran of the U. S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Emalene Thomas Peck; daughters, Phyllis Peck Finney of Chattanooga and Nancy K. Peck Keith of Loganville, GA; son, George Christopher Peck of Loganville, GA; sister, Ona Mae Hester of Forney, AL; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 1-4 p.m. at Earle Rainwater Funeral Home, who has charge of arrangements.
