Dale, Jewell Patterson (Tunnel Hill)

Jewell Patterson Dale, 76, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Hamilton Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Dale; and parents, Neil and Mary Patterson.

She was a member of Tunnel Hill First Baptist Church and Auburntown First Baptist Church. Ms. Dale taught school for 42 years, with the last school being Dalton High School.

Survivors include her son, Brian Dale of Chattanooga; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Sue Patterson of Smyrna, TN; granddaughter, Makenzie Dale of Chattanooga; nephew, Charles Patterson; and a niece, Kimberly Corn.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 17, at 11 a.m. at the Westside Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Dewey Boyd officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Westside Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home on Monday, January 16, from 4-9 p.m. Burial will be in Odom Cemetery in Auburntown, TN.

There will also be a funeral service held Wednesday, January 18, at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home in Woodbury, TN.

Visitation at the Woodbury Funeral Home will be Tuesday, January 17, from 4-8 p.m.

Funeral arrangements are by Julian Peeples Funeral Home, Westside Chapel, Rocky Face.
