Timothy Lee Lankford, 57, of Dalton, Georgia, died on Friday, January 13, 2017 at the local hospital.
Mr. Lankford was born October 14, 1959 in Lafayette, GA the son of late Robert and Mary Amos Lankford. Mr. Lankford was the Plant Manager for Lexmark Carpet Mills.
Mr. Lankford was survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Karen Dycus Lankford of Dalton, GA; sons, Justin Lankford of Dalton, GA, and Timothy Lankford, Jr. of Tennessee; brother, Bobby Lankford of Summerville, GA; sisters and brothers-in law, Carolyn and Gary Forgey of Fort Oglethorpe, GA, Norma and David Simons of Toccoa, GA, Kathy and Randy Hunter of Summerville, GA, Regina and Mike Cothran of Oakwood, GA; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jerry and Darlene Smith of Dalton, GA; brother-in-law, Steve Dycus of Cleveland, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services to celebrate the life of Timothy Lee Lankford will be held Tuesday, January, 17, at 3 p.m. at the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Brother George Cross officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until the service hour on Tuesday, January 17.
