Glenda Massey
Glenda Clark Massey, 72, of Lookout Mountain, Georgia, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 15, 2017.
She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia areas and was a member of Chattanooga Valley Baptist Church. She was previously employed with Lucey Boiler Company for more than 30 years as the Bookkeeper. Glenda enjoyed cooking, loved antiques and adored New Smyrna Beach, Florida spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be truly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her loving husband of more than 54 years, Jack Massey of Lookout Mountain; daughters and son-in-law, Marty and Moose Long of Flintstone, and Kathy Massey of Red Bank; three sisters, Marilyn Massey of Lookout Mountain, Paula Mowry of East Ridge, and Darlene Scott of Chickamauga; one granddaughter, Casey Long and numerous extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Wednesday, Jan. 18, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Brother Keith James officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakewood South Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Jan. 17, from 4-8 p.m. and prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
