Knox County Mayor Tim Burchett To Speak On Convervatism At Chattanooga Tea Party

  • Monday, January 16, 2017
The Chattanooga Tea Party will be kicking off its first meeting of the year with Knox County Mayor Tim Burchett as its guest speaker. As Mayor of the third largest county in Tennessee, Mayor Burchett will be speaking on the need for a smaller government at all levels.

"Knox County tea party members highly recommend Mayor Burchett as a strong fiscal conservative.  Entrepreneurship, confidence in the free market, and a desire to serve are traits that guide Mayor Burchett. They are a large part of the conservative foundation from which he derives his core principles of service, efficiency and savings.
This will be an excellent opportunity to meet Mayor Burchett in person," officials said.

The meeting will be held this Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at The Century Club Banquet Hall, 3221 Harrison Pike (off Access Road, just south of the Highway 153-Amnicola Highway intersection, next to Indian Motorcycles).

Attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable canned good item to support the local Chattanooga Area Food Bank.

RSVP at Chattanooga Tea Party’s Facebook page (link at ChattanoogaTeaParty.com). Donations will be accepted at the event to help defray costs.
